Keeping Up with the Times

It is a marvel how eager I am to see what innovations and technology tomorrow brings, yet I am so steadfastly against changes in parlance, clothing and mannerisms. Evolution is a constant and change is inevitable, but a decent portion of my brain whittles away the day pining for the yesteryears and wanting to sit down at my TV tray to watch Gilligan’s Island.

I cannot be the only one who becomes more than slightly agitated attempting to shop for familiar and comfortable clothing. Everything nowadays feels so flashy. Where can I find the nearest ‘Wallflowers R Us’, where all of the colors are muted and styles are simple; even bland. Where the customer service is not scrolling through Social Media while you timidly smile at the line forming behind you and tell yourself patience is a virtue. That’s enough about yesterday’s misadventures.

If I continue to release comic panels, I will very soon need to select a name for the series.

On the backend of this art journey, I have been hard at work setting up my ‘business’. My skill level, in regards to art, is still a little below that of the more traditional artists such as Van Gough, Rembrandt, Michelangelo, and those other lads and lasses, but people always need more toilet paper, napkins and kindling. My artwork could be quite useful around the house, and possibly cost less than 2-ply!
