Today’s piece has to be the brightest piece I have ever done. I can feel myself squinting when I look at it. To be fair, I do this with most of my works, as the blurrier they look, the less you notice my shaky lines. Pro tips! While I normally bare my fangs and hiss at the notion of such bright colors, I really feel it helps set the clear message that the landscape being a desert holds significance. It is required for this reference, after all!
I did not imagine the guitar would be the part of the drawing to give me the most difficulty. I am really starting to feel more comfortable drawing the general anatomy in this style, which feels very nice. That is not at all to say I am completely pleased with the quality I produce, but I can live with it, and there has been steady improvement over the last two weeks. I really cannot wait to see what two months in will look like!
